SERVICE POLICY
Clifton Australia is committed to providing exceptional customer service and quality products. We endeavour to make sure that all products listed on our website are currently in stock and pricing is true and correct.
In the event that an ordered item is not available or we are unable to fulfil your order we will notify you within 3 business days to arrange an agreeable alternative item, a backorder or a full refund.
Standard delivery timeframes are between 3-10 business days. Please specify if delivery is required sooner so we can investigate all options to satisfy your needs. In some cases an express surcharge may be one solution.
PAYMENT POLICY
Customers are given a choice of paying upfront with credit card with no credit card fees, or may pay (once approved) using their 30 Day Credit Account. If the customer opts for the 30 Day Credit Account, then payment by EFT or Cheque will not incur any additional fee, however payment by Credit Card (Visa and Mastercard only) will incur an additional 2% fee to the amount owed.
REFUND POLICY
Please choose your items carefully. We do not give refunds or exchanges if you simply change your mind or make a wrong decision.
As our customer, you can choose between a credit or replacement, where on receipt the umbrella is faulty, damaged in transit, or the goods have been significantly described incorrectly on the Clifton trade website or catalogue, or the product received is different to the actual product purchased on the website or via the catalogue.
SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
Clifton Australia delivers products Australia wide using the Direct Freight Courier Service and Australia Post depending on the size and location of deliveries.
Orders are dispatched within 3 business days and shipping times are estimated at between 1-7 business days depending on your location within Australia.
Orders over $300.00 (plus GST) will be delivered Free-In-Store (F.I.S.) around Australia to all Metro areas and most regional cities.
Orders under $300.00 (plus GST) will incur a $25.00 (plus GST) delivery fee to all Metro areas and most regional cities.
A delivery surcharge may also be charged on some remote locations around Australia and if a surcharge is applicable, it will be listed in the shopping cart prior to confirmation of the order.
Deliveries should be to a physical address attended between the hours of 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday as the item will not be left unattended at any stated address. Due to the size of our products, no deliveries can be made to PO Boxes.
If delivery is via Courier Service:
All orders delivered by Courier Service are to a home or business address. If no one is available to sign for or receive the parcel at the nominated address, Courier Service will leave a card notifying of the attempted delivery with contact details for you to arrange a delivery.
If delivery is via Australia Post:
All orders delivered by Australia Post are to a home or business address. If no one is available to sign for or receive the parcel, a "Pick up from Post Office" card is left. Note, only one (1) physical attempt will be made to deliver, with a second and third card being sent after 10 and 20 working days respectively.
If this delivery fails the parcel will be returned to us. If the parcel is under 2kg, then the parcel will be returned free of charge to us and will be no charge. If the parcel is over 2kg, the same postage will be charged to your credit card as when the parcel was originally sent.
The use of Australia Post or Courier Service is at the pure discretion of Clifton Australia.
OUT OF STOCK POLICY
We make every effort to maintain our inventory and mark items “out-of-stock" or remove the item on our website. Our new trade ordering site umbrella.com.au has LIVE integration with stock records, however from time to time stock may be showing as available when in fact we have run out of stock. Should this happen, we will shall be in contact directly with you via e-mail to discuss your order. In such cases, your options will include:
* Selecting an alternate product
* Postponing your whole order delivery until all items can be sent in one delivery
* Opting for a "Back Order" and the item to be sent and charged at a later date (delivery costs may apply)
* Cancelling your order for that product or products
* Cancelling your full order
According to your selection, any refund or additional payment will be processed via your credit card used in the transaction, or subtracted or added to your 30 Day Credit Account.
RETAIL GUARANTEE
Clifton Australia offers a 12 Month Frame Guarantee from the date of purchase on all Clifton, Blooming, H.Due.O, Artbrellas, Coynes, Galleria, Kidorable and Bugzz branded umbrellas.
Wind damage, misuse or accidental damage does not constitute a faulty frame.
A 12 Month Guarantee is also offered on non umbrella products sold by Clifton Australia.
A purchase receipt may be requested to prove date of purchase is within the 12 month guarantee timeframe.
The consumer is directed on our website and on our swingtags to return the faulty products directly to us, HOWEVER if they wish to return the product to you (as their retailer) you may accept the product as faulty at your discretion (i.e. you believe it was not caused by wind damage, misuse or accidental damage and that you sold it to them in the past 12 months) and if you accept the fault product and offer a replacement or refund, then please contact us to arrange a credit on your next order of the wholesale price you paid for the product. All we shall require from you is a digital picture of the product and the fault so we can apply the credit.

When purchasing from Clifton Australia trade ordering website your financial details for your account are not transmitted and payment via credit card is secured by encryption technology.

Clifton Australia websites uses cookies to allow you to login to your account, maintain a shopping cart and to purchase items in your shopping cart. Cookies sent to your computer from our new trade order website umbrella.com.au (Clifton Australia) only last while you’re browsing our website. We do not store persistent cookies on your computer.
